Description
Back home in Kentucky, this one was Eddie’s father’s favorite bourbon. He enjoyed it neat or over ice with a splash of cola.
Handcrafted in small batches in Kentucky’s Bluegrass Region, Woodford Reserve Bourbon is a favourite of bourbon drinkers around the world. And the judges agree as Woodford Reserve has won over 17 top international awards including Double Gold at the prestigious San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The art of making fine bourbon first took place on the site of the Woodford Reserve Distillery, a National Historic Landmark, in 1812. The perfectly balanced taste of our Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is comprised of more than 200 detectable flavor notes, from bold grain and wood, to sweet aromatics, spice, and fruit & floral notes
One of Kentucky’s oldest and smallest distilleries, the present day Woodford Reserve Distillery is built on history, sitting on Kentucky’s oldest distilling site where Elijah Pepper began crafting whiskey in 1812.
Woodford Reserve has an exceptional depth and richness with a characteristic smooth finish.
Of course, we should point out that Woodford Reserve makes other types of American whiskeys such as rye, malt and wheat whiskeys, as well as other experimental whiskeys.
